Notes:	Describes the process and findings of a qualitative study, aimed at exploring the incidence of child-to-mother violence from the perspective of the victim. A background to research conducted into child-to-parent violence is provided and key themes that emerged from the interviews are identified, such as feelings of intimidation and threat, escalation towards physical abuse, and threats made by friends or associates of children against parents. Some of the unique issues arising in the context of child-to-parent violence are discussed and implications of the findings for future practice and research are suggested.
