Notes:  This article examines the impact and practice implications of children's exposure and witnessing of intimate partner sexual assault. The author provides background to the issue including a brief review of prevalence and impacts. This is following by a discussion of legal history implications in the US, specifically drawing on two cases as examples. Key practice implications for legal professionals are outlined as well as areas for future research.
