Notes:  The article describes the relationship and collaboration between the Gold Coast Domestic Violence Prevention Centre and Queensland Corrective Services (QCS): the relationship between them, and how they work with other agencies to enhance the safety of women and their children, and hold domestic violence perpetrators accountable for their behaviour. It discusses the tangible and intangible benefits to both agencies of developing this collaborative relationship, and how the safety of women and children is built into the processes that drive this collaboration. It also discusses how the Men's Domestic Violence Education and Intervention Program and QCS's ongoing supervision and case management post program address the underlying causes or criminogenic needs of domestics violence offenders.
