Notes:  The Police and Community Training (PACT) programme, a joint initiative of the New South Wales Police Service and the Ethnic Affairs Commission of New South Wales, aims to promote locally-based, two-way, police/community training, awareness and ongoing dialogue. There are currently seven PACT projects across Sydney addressing critical local issues. Article discusses the Penrith/St. Marys PACT Project which focuses on addressing the impact of domestic violence on families of culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
