Notes:	The Crown Prosecution Service (UK) conducted a four month study of domestic violence cases where the victim refused to engage or withdrew from the criminal justice process. Between February and May 2012 170 cases were found where victims refused to engage prior to charge, withdrew during the process, formally retracted, or did not turn up at court. This report presents: A number of recommendations are made to reinforce good practice across the Crown Prosecution Service areas.
