Notes:	Journal of the DVRC Inc. The ‘Where to from here’ Report in 1996 recommended that ‘all women in Queensland should have access to – a safe place to go to’ and ‘emotional support and understanding’. This article draws attention to the fact this has yet to be achieved. The current funding crisis in Queensland and the lack of supported crisis accommodation are severely limiting the options available for women. This is particularly so in rural towns where transport is lacking, and telephone support services are not adequately funded.
