Notes:  This paper reports on research conducted in England (UK) into the effects on children of experiencing and witnessing domestic violence. The authors point to practical ways in which practitioners can better engage with the sensitive emotional context of working with children who have experienced domestic violence. The authors underscore the need for practitioners to engage with the broad range of welfare agencies available to assist children in such situations.
