Notes:	This article reports the findings from a two-year evaluation of a domestic violence intervention in the maternity and sexual health services of a hospital in the United Kingdom. The intervention included the introduction of domestic violence clinical guidelines, staff training on domestic violence, the inclusion of routine enquiry for domestic violence with all patients, and a system for referral of women who disclose violence to an on-site advocacy service. The article reports both positive and unsuccessful outcomes of the intervention.
