| Notes: | Provides an account of how social workers and other community service providers at the St Vincent’s Community Health Service responded to the previously unrecognised needs of gay clients experiencing domestic violence and how they developed an interagency response to assisting this particular group. An overview of some of the key issues associated with gay male relationships, HIV and domestic violence is presented and a chronology of the project’s development is outlined. Concludes by listing major achievements of this collaborative approach. |
