Notes:  This article presents the findings of US-based study which examined the rates of pregnancy-associated homicide and suicide. The findings indicate that pregnancy-associated homicide and suicide account for more deaths than other obstetric complications. Additionally, the authors identified that these types of pregnancy-associated violent deaths were substantially associated with intimate partner violence.
