Notes: | This article presents findings from a review of literature published between 1990 and 2010 to examine studies which evaluated intimate partner violence screening programs in health care settings. After examining more than 5000 articles, 23 articles were identified that evaluated 17 studies. Based on the collective findings from these articles, the authors conclude that multi-component comprehensive screening programs that build provider self-efficacy were most successful at increasing screening and subsequent disclosure rates. |
