Notes:  This journal article discusses a project designed to study interventions and practices used by emergency department (ED) professionals in Finland in relation to women experiencing physical violence perpetrated by an intimate partner. Twenty-eight emergency departments from Finland participated in the study; 950 questionnaires were distributed to ED personnel and 480 were accepted for analysis.
