Notes:  This journal article reports on the results of a US study into lifetime victimisation of physical and sexual violence and past year alcohol use. The study concludes that lifetime victimisation is associated with alcohol use problems for both men and women, and recommends that prevention and treatment programs should screen men and women for victimisation and alcohol problems.
