Notes: | This study interviewed 160 victims of intimate partner violence six times over a period of two years to examine the role of social support in relation to women’s experiences of abuse, quality of life, and depression. Physical and psychological abuse were related to women’s depression. However, quality of life was found to be related to only to psychological abuse. Additionally, social support was positively related to quality of life and negatively related to depression. |
