Notes: | Outlines the methodology and findings of a US study aimed at further exploring phoning logistics associated with interviewing subjects in longitudinal domestic violence studies. An overview of some of the issues arising in the context of longitudinal research with battered women is provided and the paucity of studies addressing these specific issues is highlighted. The findings suggest a key problem in this area is a lack of participant response over time. Possible ways of improving response rates and the limitations of such approaches are suggested. |
