Notes:  This article summarises the findings from the US National Survey of Children’s Exposure to Violence, specifically examining children’s experiences of different types of victimisation including direct victimisation, exposure to domestic violence and other forms of violence and crime. The study interviewed more than 4000 child and adolescents about their experiences and was conducted between January and May 2008.
