| Notes: | This article, a UK and Swiss collaboration, comments on the apparently significantly greater risk of children with disabilities experiencing violence, in comparison with their non-disabled peers. The authors highlight the difficulty in accurately measuring this phenomenon for a number of reasons and use systematic review and meta-analysis to investigate this further. Expanding on these primary reasons provides greater clarity on the issue but also emphasises the challenges involved in quantification, including data collection, and measurement, and the need for future research. |
