Notes:  This article reports on a DVRCV forum on parents who kill their children. It discusses how filicide can be prevented, through the courts prioritising children’s safety over the benefit of a relationship with both parents. Positive legislative changes to family law have been introduced in Australia which go towards supporting children’s safety within a context of family violence and parental separation.
