Presents a profile of the Waywayseecappo First Nation, an Indigenous community in Canada, before outlining the methodology of a survey aimed at identifying the key factors contributing to the occurrence of domestic violence in this community. The goals and structure of the Waywayseecappo domestic abuse intervention programme and domestic violence project are then discussed and key findings highlighted. The appendix includes surveys and other assessment tools used for the research project.
