Notes:	Current rates of domestic and sexual violence against women in Australia are unacceptable. The Australian Government is taking a proactive approach by developing the National Plan to Reduce Violence Against Women and their Children (the National Plan) with states and territories. The National Plan is the first plan to coordinate government action across Australia to make a significant and sustained reduction in the levels of violence against women and their children.
