| dc.description.notes | The National Homicide Monitoring Program (NHMP) oversees the collection of data on homicides within Australia and releases this information in the form of annual reports dating from 1989-1990. It has determined that 25% of homicide cases in Australia involve death at the hands of an intimate partner, and further, that 2% of these homicides occur in same-sex relationships.<br/ ><br/ >This research paper seeks to examine the characteristics and context of same-sex intimate partner homicide.
