A National Symposium on Violence against Women and Girls with Disabilities:was held in Sydney in October 2013 as one component of the project. This meeting sought to raise awareness of the issue of violence against women with disabilities, and engage expert decision-makers and high-level stakeholders in collaboration in policy development and reform of service provision.
