Notes: | This is a study conducted by Australian researchers into the incidence of intimate partner violence (IPV) as experienced by West African women living in Australia. The research involved a qualitative survey of 21 women, 18 of which had experienced some form of IPV. The article outlines the survey's findings, and goes on to canvass the consequences for Australian health professionals in dealing with the effects of IPV amongst West African migrants. |
