Notes:	This paper explores evidence of a shift in national policy direction in sexual assault and domestic violence away from feminism and asks whether feminism has any contemporary relevance in this area. This will be explored predominantly by comparing and contrasting key national male violence against women government policies and responses focusing on the previous federal labour Government's National Strategy on Violence Against Women and the Coalition Government's Partnerships Against Domestic Violence and National Initiative to Combat Sexual Assault.
