Notes:	Plummer presents an applied research paper which examines endeavours to promote the prevention of child sexual abuse through policy, internationally and in the US. The analysis identifies the need for policy to address primary, secondary and tertiary prevention at individual, community and systemic levels. This deconstruction highlights necessary policy changes to actively deal with the social problems constraining effective implementation of preventative policies. Finally, the paper proposes opportunities for policy developments to reflect this commitment to change.
