Issues discussed include; accessible information, effective communication, isolation, knowledge of women's rights, recognising the violence, perceived lack of credibility, dependence on the perpetrator, appropriate transport and suitable domestic violence services. Strategies for responding to the issues of women with disabilities who experience domestic violence are proposed.
