Based on the findings of two action research projects conducted in South Australia, this resource provides practitioners working in the field of domestic violence and/or child sexual abuse with an overview of the nature, strategies and effects of maternal alienation. Presents a range of strategies for responding to individual and systemic maternal alienation in each of these areas of practice. Approaches to intervention and prevention taken by participating agencies are documented and the author builds upon these to develop a model for best practice.
