Notes:  General Overview: This Australian article looks at two recent decisions of the Northern Territory Supreme Court regarding the sexual assault of Aboriginal girls.

Conclusions: The paper suggests that any future law reform must be done in conjunction with human rights education and awareness training within both the criminal justice system and Aboriginal communities, in order to promote the right of Aboriginal women and girls to be free and protected from sexual violence.
