Notes:  This literature review was conducted as a preliminary step in the Meeting the needs of our children:project. It reviews significant Australian government and government-funded reports, frameworks, strategic plans and papers dealing with domestic violence, Indigenous family violence, child protection and good practice in program delivery.

It identifies key principles which are significant to the delivery of services, programs, activities and initiatives whose goals are to prevent and respond to family violence in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

It presents nine questions which need to be considered in developing the national Good Practice Principles and Process Framework for the final phase of the project.
