Notes:  This protocol provides a framework for NSW Women’s Domestic Violence Court Assistance Schemes (WDVCAS) to improve immigrant and refugee women’s access to legal protection when experiencing domestic violence. Part One consists of a number of basic guidelines and resources to ensure access and equity of culturally diverse groups. It also includes a planning service delivery checklist with minimum standards to meet the needs of immigrant and refugee women. Part Two contains ten worksheets about issues such as communication skills, public relations, cross-cultural awareness, networking and employment conditions to ensure that WDVCAS address access and equity issues for women using their services.
