Notes:	Leaflet describes the work of the United Nations Development Fund for Women and specifically focuses on the UNIFEM Trust Fund in Support of Actions to Eliminate Violence Against Women, which was created in 1996 by the UN General Assembly. This fund supports projects, which conduct public awareness and education campaigns, involve law enforcement, judicial and/or government agencies and train educators, healthcare workers and police officials in violence prevention. A detailed description of three projects, in Zimbabwe, India and Honduras, is given and mention is made of other projects in Africa, Asia, Europe and South America.
