Notes:	General overview: This is a booklet containing information and resources for use in supporting young people who are experiencing violence. Key messages: It outlines the hallmarks of abuse, such as control, domination, through physical harm, threats pressure to have sex, emotional abuse and social isolation. It also outlines features of dating violence and the symptoms of young people living with family and domestic violence. It provides several examples of case studies and advice as to how to offer support and help. The booklet concludes with list of resources and websites to offer as referrals. The booklet lists the sort of things that are helpful, such as listening and supporting and also lists things that are not helpful, such as giving advice and confronting the abusive person.
