This poster is part of the World Health Organization's "Global Campaign for Violence Prevention". It is one in a series of posters called the "Album" poster series which depicts a personal photograph covered in scratches concentrated around the face of one or more of the figures in the picture. This particular poster depicts a wedding photo with the bride's face scratched beyond recognition which highlights the statistics provided at the bottom of the image: "1 in 2 female murder victims are killed by their male partners, often during an ongoing abusive relationship". Also provided is the World Health Organization's violence and injury prevention website: www.WHO.int/violence_injury_prevention. The poster comes in both English and French.
