Notes:  A kit developed as an alcohol and violence prevention resource. Designed to be used as part of a 12 session ‘discovery tour’ for participants, the package contains drawings which have been selected to indicate ideas/concepts about violence. Each page contains a concept which requires discussion and agreement among participants, and aims to demonstrate that acts of violence are the perpetrator’s responsibility. Draws on Aboriginal culture, for example by pointing out that violence was not part of traditional culture, and encouraging participants to follow the cultural path and adhere to the respect for others that was traditional Australia. The group explores ways to promote culture in the gaol or the community.
