This Victorian booklet is a guide for women explaining the Victorian Family Violence Court Division counselling orders for men. These orders are for men who have had an intervention order made against them by the Magistrates’ Court in Ballarat or Heidelberg, directing men to counselling where an intervention order has been made. It seeks to explain to women with a partner or former partner who has been ordered to attend such counselling. It explains about who can receive a counselling order, attending an eligibility assessment interview, eligibility requirements, when a counselling order finishes, relationship between the counselling order and intervention order, and what happens if the counselling order is ignored or breached. List of relevant services is also included.
