Together with a videorecording called "Hidden Wounds", this booklet makes up a kit which is designed for health professionals in a hospital/practice/clinic setting. Booklet includes a definition of family violence and a list of physical indicators in women and other indicators which may be found in women and children. It provides questions to ask and appropriate responses as well as ways to assist the patient, including documentation of physical signs and patient's account. Three pages of contact numbers in the Northern Territory for both male and female referrals are given and an accompanying flowchart for the conduct of the consultation is included.
