This summary reports on the Working for change forum which was held in Adelaide on November 7, 2013 at the Australian Institute of Social Relations (a division of RASA) in Hindmarsh, South Australia - a national event designed to bring together workers from across sectors and within private practice, who work with men who have been abusive within intimate/family relationships or sexually violent to women.

Delegates from the men's behaviour change sector, sexual offender program and private therapy and counselling fields came together to hear six respected speakers discuss their approaches to the challenges of working in this area and to spark conversations about philosophical frameworks, new models, practice dilemmas and good practice.

The panel comprised the following, each chosen for their expertise and reputation as leaders in this field:
* Ed Mosby (Helem Yumba, Queensland)
* Alan Jenkins (private practice, South Australia)
* Greg Yee (private practice, ACT and NSW)
* Rosemary O'Malley (Gold Coast Domestic Violence Prevention Centre, Queensland)
* Tom Powell (Red Dust Healing, NSW)
* Rodney Vlais (No To Violence, Victoria)
This joint event was organised and convened by the Australian Domestic and Family Violence Clearinghouse (ADFVC) in partnership with the Australian Centre for the Study of Sexual Assault (ACSSA).
