dc.description.notes | This Australian study investigated early intervention measures to reduce women's multiple experiences of domestic and family violence and homelessness. The study involved a comparison of innovative programs in England (UK) and three Australian states (New South Wales, Tasmania and Victoria), including safe at home programs and perpetrator behaviour change programs. The study recommended that safe at home programs be extended in Australia and that a common risk assessment tool be introduced.<br/ ><br/ >A companion study focusing on safe at home programs, Homelessness Prevention for Women and Children Who Have Experienced Domestic and Family Violence: Innovations in Policy and Practice:, was funded by the Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute. | en |
