Notes:  This report presents the results of some of the research conducted through the Victims of Violence and Abuse Prevention Programme:(VVAPP) in England (UK). The authors used the Delphi Method to examine consensus among VVAPP experts about knowledge and treatment effectiveness for people affected by childhood sexual abuse, domestic violence and sexual assault. The consultation covered the following topics: principles and core beliefs, effective interventions, managing safety and risk, training, prevention, improving outcomes and addressing obstacles. For each of these areas, the report summarises key issues and then presents specific findings for victims of domestic violence and sexual violence.
