Notes:	Comprehensive report which summarises the learnings under Phase One of the Partnerships Against Domestic Violence initiative, the national framework for a co-operative and collaborative response to domestic violence. The learnings derived from Phase One are presented in relation to both best practice in service provision and community education, and the fundamental importance of collaboration in achieving this. Examples of good practice are provided in working with children and young people, women’s issues, men, Indigenous family violence and rural and remote communities. The report then sets out the framework which as been developed, on the basis of learning from Phase One, to guide Phase Two of the initiative. It is stressed that the process of collaboration, so important to date in the achievements under the initiative, must be extended beyond specialist domestic violence services to other service sectors such as health, community services, the legal system, child welfare and housing. The Australian Domestic and Family Violence Clearinghouse, established under Phase Two, is identified as playing a key role in disseminating good practice models, competency standards and information. The report also includes an overview of activities in all States and Territories and appendices which document publications and projects funded under this initiative.
