Title: Review of the current model of support for Regional Coordination Responses to family and domestic violence
Authors: Simpson, Terry
Keywords: Interagency work;Service provision
Year: 2009
Publisher: Western Australian Department for Child Protection
Notes:  Regional Coordination Responses (RCRs) are an integrated interagency response. Policy revisions in 2008 in Western Australia proposed changes to the RCRs services and administration, including a common role of case management and case coordination for victims at high risk and perpetrators. This report presents findings from a review that was conducted to guide these policy changes. The author analysed the status of RCRs and non-governmental and governmental support models. As a result of this analysis, key issues emerged around case management implementation, support models, resourcing, standardisation, auspicing agencies, governance, and the role of government agencies.
