The instruments assess the knowledge, attitudes, practices and experiences of boys, girls and teachers with physical psychological and sexual violence.<br/ ><br/ >The Safe Schools Program is funded by USAID and works in Malawi and Ghana to improve educational and health outcomes in schools by creating safe environments for boys and girls and reducing school-related, gender-based violence (SRGBV). The study described in this document was carried out by Dev-Tech Systems and the Centre for Educational Research and Training (CERT) through the Safe Schools Program.<br/ ><br/ >The document begins by describing the methodology used in collecting the baseline information in forty primary schools and the sampling procedures and criteria for selecting the schools, students and teachers.
