The strategic directions draw on the recommendations of the 2002 report. The Health Service is a lead agency in the Onkaparinga Collaborative Approach to the Prevention of Domestic Violence, involving extensive partnerships with other key agencies. The report includes approaches that are inclusive of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Island communities, lesbian communities and people affected by mental illness.
