Notes:	This reports on the Partnerships Against Domestic Violence (PADV)-funded Indigenous Family Violence Project that aims to develop a national demonstration holistic model for working with Indigenous men, families and communities about violence in both metropolitan and regional communities. The guidelines are based on a review of literature and programme development in 2 locations of NSW (Dubbo and Redfern). Information is presented in 3 parts: the guidelines; findings from the literature review; and outline of programme implementation. Programme development at the 2 sites progressed differently. Dubbo was able to build on existing services and the community was able to develop a three-tiered model (preventative, secondary and tertiary intervention). Dubbo’s programmes will be further implemented by Probation and Parole and women’s services, and the work of this Project has been transferred to the Western Region Domestic Violence Collective. The Redfern site did not progress as quickly. Redfern has limited family violence programmes or services in place. A mapping exercise to identify gaps in services was undertaken. The state-funded Redfern/Waterloo Partnership Project is continuing with the work after this Project. This reports that the success of projects is dependent on community ownership rather than non-Indigenous decision-making about short-term and pilot projects in their communities.
