Notes:	Document tabled in the ACT Legislative Assembly in June 2004 to fulfil the legislative requirement that the Act and its regulations be consistent with Model Domestic Violence Laws and that a review be conducted of the operation of provisions relating to domestic violence. Report includes proposed amendments to the Act that arose from the review, responses to the proposed amendments from eleven agencies that provided submissions on the report and final recommendations regarding the proposed amendments. Also included is a discussion of the Model Domestic Violence Laws and how the Act differs from some of the provisions of the MDVL.
