Notes:	"November 2001" Reports information collected from victimisation surveys and police domestic/family violence incidence records in South Australia in 2000 and discusses some of the definitional and methodological issues raised by these findings. Provides a description and analysis of victimisation surveys and official crime statistics, highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each. The most recent studies of this kind are then reviewed. Concludes that a more accurate picture of the nature, incidence and prevalence of intimate violence occurring can be achieved through analysis of more than one form of data.
