The task force considered children's experiences of a range of forms of violence including sexual abuse, physical abuse, exposure to intimate partner violence and community violence. The task force recommendations are organised around six main themes:<br/ ><br/ >In relation to the fourth theme, the report contains a number of recommendations on responding to children who have been exposed to family violence. These recommendations include: expanding home visit programs; improving collaboration between services (including court systems); addressing violence in parenting programs; ensuring support and counselling is available to children exposed to lethal violence; and providing culturally responsive programs. | en |
