Notes:  This report looks at the situation of Indigenous homelessness in Tennant Creek and its environs in the Northern Territory. The Tennant Creek Women's Refuge was used as a case study.

* The Women's Refuge is severely limited in the service it can provide due to short-term funding cycles, operating in a region of limited accommodation options and prioritising women at high risk in periods of high demand
The Tennant Creek investigation is part of a larger project which examined Indigenous homelessness and service delivery within five regions of Australia and was commissioned by the Department of Families, Housing, Community Services and Indigenous Affairs (FaHCSIA).
