This report is a review of a peer educator pilot project from Victoria. The program aimed to address the underlying causes of violence against women. The program operates in secondary schools and other educational institutions, and seeks to build the skills and environment to support equal and respectful relationships between men and women. The report includes a comprehensive literature review on material concerning the challenge of peer education in preventing violence against women. It also includes sample training session plans and qualitative evaluations of such programs.
