Abstract:  The Centre for Social Impact UWA (CSI UWA) has released its research report for Perth-based Zonta House Refuge Association that measures the impact of their services and programs available for women experiencing family and domestic violence (FDV).

Since 1984, Zonta House has provided safety, crisis and transitional accommodation, essential relief and support services to women who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing FDV. As part of their mission to deliver high-quality services to prevent and reduce violence, Zonta House engaged CSI UWA in 2020 to develop an Impact Report and support Zonta House’s internal capability to analyse its quantitative data.

Despite the critical importance in ensuring that services in the FDV space are impactful and appropriate, outcomes measurement using holistic cross-program analysis - that accounts for social change over time - is rarely funded.

The Impact Report recommends a significant increase in funding to the FDV sector, and community sector more generally, to build capacity around outcomes measurement and evaluation.
